25 Favorite Films: Waking Life (2001)

There are few films that have stuck with me (hence the purpose of this ’25 Favorite Films’ series). It needs to take a lot for me to not only want to think about it but to also repeatedly view it. When I first sat down to watch Richard Linklater’s Waking Life I didn’t know what to expect other than it was animated. I also should stress this was the first time I ever watched a Linklater film and apart from some generic observations I was basically going into this blind.
